Lovely Professional University is conducting National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) for UG Hotel Management aspirants. Students studying in 12th class can apply for LPUNEST (UG Hotel Management). Since its inception in 2009, more than 75,000 students are appearing in this exam (LPUNEST) every year. The LPUNEST exam offers convenient choices to candidates: online remotely proctored from Home (Recommended by the university, based on available resources. Click here to view General Guidelines) or test centre-based options. This test will have a two-fold advantage as it will act as an Entrance as well as Scholarship Test. Eligibility
For admission to Under Graduate Hotel Management Programmes at Lovely Professional University, you need to fulfil the following Eligibility Criteria.
Nationality
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST (UG Hotel Management)
Qualifying Examination
Applicants appearing for LPUNEST (UG Hotel Management) should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2025, in final examination of 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.
Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination
Pass with 50% aggregate marks* in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST^
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.
*5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
Admission Criteria
Merit in LPUNEST, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.
