Admission Process- Includes Interview

The applicant needs to deposit the fee through Online Mode or manually by visiting the university campus/ Camp Office. For Admission, students need to follow these steps:

Step 1 - Signup

  • Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
  • You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
  • Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password.

STEP 2 - Apply LPUNEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test)

LPUNEST is an online test which acts as a gateway to programme you are interested in. Admission in this programme is done based on performance in LPUNEST and Interview. In addition, LPUNEST also act as Scholarship test and student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test.

  • Deposit the test fee:
    • Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is ₹1000 (for Boys and Girls).
    • Cost of Application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is ₹1500 (for Boys and Girls).
  • Fill the test application form.

STEP 3 - (i) Book the Exam Slot and Appear

  • Book the slot to appear in the LPUNEST Exam:
    • For Test Centre Based Exam, Book preferred venue, date and time.
    • For Remotely Proctored Online Exam, Book preferred date and time. Click here to view the General Guidelines.
  • Appear and qualify the exam.

(ii) Submission of Video Essay

  • Prepare a 2-minute video introducing yourself, discussing career goals, and motivations for pursuing an MBA at Mittal School of Business, LPU.

  • Upload the video on the LPU ADMIT portal within the specified timeframe.

STEP 4 - Interview

  • After qualifying LPUNESTexam, the candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on the video essay uploaded on the portal.
  • Choose a convenient date, time, and venue for the interview.
  • Appear and qualify the Interview.

STEP 5 - Admission

  • Deposit initial payment of Rs.10000. After the successful realization of the payment:
    • A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
  • Upload the documents.

    • Upload the documents.
      • Recent Photograph
      • Matriculation Marksheet
      • Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification he/ she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/ marksheet also. In case the exam certificate/ marksheet is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later also.
      • Address Proof
    • Apply for residential / mess / transportation / parking facility as per the requirement.
    • All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.

  • Deposit initial fee of Rs. 10000/- to confirm the seat. (Application fee: Rs. 500. Rest will be adjusted under the Programme Fee of the first semester).

Video Essay and LPUNEST Result

LPUNEST: Test will be conducted in multiple schedules. After the end of each schedule, the scores (subject wise as well as total) obtained by the candidates will be provided to them. The final result sheet containing the ranks of the candidates will be released. These scores will also determine the amount of scholarship one would be availing.

Note:- If there arises a case of ties in total scores between candidates, the comparison will be made between the subject wise scores obtained by them. Also, the age of the candidates will be taken into consideration to resolve the tie, where candidates who are elder will be ranked prior with regards to other candidates. Since it is an online Computer Based Test (CBT), there is no provision of revaluation of LPUNEST answers.
