Guidelines for filling the Application Form
  • Step-1- Enter your important details to obtain application number and password.
    • Applicant should fill his/ her personal information.  
    • It is mandatory for the applicant to provide his/ her valid email id.
    • Applicant name, Date of Birth and email id cannot be changed once you save your details. Hence provide correct information.
    • On submitting the information requested in Step 1(a), a confirmatory message containing application Id, will be sent on your registered email and phone.
    • Applicants are requested to note down the generated application number.
    • All future correspondence will be through application number only.
  • Step 2- Login with the application number and make payment using online/ offline mode.
    • a) For making payment through Online Mode, Applicant may use any of the following options: -

      • Internet Banking facility
      • Debit Card
      • Credit Card
      • Select the appropriate payment mode and follow the stepwise instructions.

      b) For making payment through Offline Mode (Demand Draft), Applicant needs to follow the following steps:-

      • Take a printout (Laser or inkjet only) of the completed application (Step 1) on a good quality A4 size paper.
      • Paste your recent passport size colour photograph and put your signature in the given spaces.
      • Draw a demand draft for Rs. 700 drawn in favour of Lovely Professional University, payable at Jalandhar.
      • On the back of the demand draft, write “Application for LPUNEST-2017”, your Name and Mobile Number.
      • Enclose the application and demand draft in good quality envelope and dispatch at the following address.

      • Do keep a photocopy of the filled-in application and Demand Draft for future reference.
      • The applicant may retain a printout of the computer generated application (Step 1) for future reference.
  • Step 3- Fill in the required details in the form and submit
    • Fields marked with an asterisk * are mandatory.
    • Provide all the relevant details carefully.
    • Select a suitable slot booking method
      • Applicant (In case you want to select date yourself)
      • University (If you want to authorize the university to allot you a slot).
    • Change of Test City will not be entertained.
    • Applicant has to specify 5 choices of exam date if he/she opts for the university option for slot booking
  • Step-4 Choose desired slot to appear in exam.
    • Online Test booking system is a web based online scheduling system available at www.lpu.in which will be activated on 15th November, 2016 onwards.

        • While booking your test schedule, please ensure that you have the following with you:
          • A photocopy of your submitted application form
          • Online test booking password.
        • Applicants can book the slot, date and time, and the test centre of their own convenience.
        • Applicant has to book the slot atleast 3 days before the date he wants to appear for the test, e.g. if you want to take test on 20th December 2016, then you have to book the slot on or before 17th December 2016. It has been observed that during the last dates applicants do not get their desired slots. So it is strongly advised that applicant should book their exam slot at the earliest to avoid any inconvenience later on.
        • The slot bookings are done on first-come-first-served basis and are subject to availability.
        • Applicant has to specify 5 choices of exam dates in the Online Application form.
        • The university will allot any one date (preferably from the given choices) for the exam as per the availability of exam slots. The university will process the request for exam slot within 48 hours after receiving the application form.However all application recived before 15th Nov 2016 will be processed on 15th Nov 2016 only as Online Slot Mangement System will be activated on 15th Nov 2016.
        • To check the allocated slot for the test, applicant has to visit www.lpu.in regularly. For this he/ she is required to fill username and password.
        • In case of non-availability of slots out of the 5 choices filled by the applicant or due to any postal delay, the university may allocate any other date to the applicant.

      All our correspondence including details of slot booking and issuing of e-hall ticket will be through email only. Therefore, the applicants are requested to ensure that their email id and mobile number are valid and operative. No separate communication will be done for the same.
