LPUNEST (Agriculture)
Lovely Professional University is conducting National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) for Agriculture aspirants. Since its inception in 2009, more than 50,000 students are appearing in this exam (LPUNEST) every year. The Test will be conducted in online mode (Pen and Paper Mode test is not allowed) as per the schedule mentioned under the head "Important Dates".
This test will have twofold advantage as it will act as Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test.
Entrance Test: LPUNEST (Agriculture) will provide a gateway to Agriculture programme in LPU and will act as Entrance test for admission in Agriculture Programme at LPU. For details, refer “Eligibility”.
Extensive Scholarship: LPU envisages to usher an era of accessible and affordable quality higher education to the youth of our country, as on the basis of LPUNEST (Agriculture) score, the university intends to award extensive Scholarship upto Rs. 2.4 Lac per student. Nationality
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST (Agriculture)
Qualifying Examination:
Applicants appearing for LPUNEST (Agriculture) should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2018, in final examination of 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.
Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination:
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry & either Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent subject to valid score in LPUNEST (Agriculture).
OR
In case marks scored in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry & either Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th are 80% or above, then LPUNEST (Agriculture) will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
